Chart notes
PURPLE NIGHT vied with SHESRSECRETWEAPON for the lead from along the inside, shook that one off entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. MIST OONA B saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out two-wide to offer a bid leaving the quarter pole, could not reach the winner but finished strongly for the place. SHESRSECRETWEAPON vied for the lead from along the outside, drifted out slightly at the quarter pole and held on fairly well for show. GUNNHILD was reserved off the early pace, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rally. DRINKUP BUTTERCUP was rank to place for the opening quarter pole while racing along the inside, dropped back to get to the outside, raced five-wide from that point and failed to menace.
