Chart notes
KABOD set the pace on the inside, vied inside on the backside, dueled with DREAMING OF SMARTY on the far turn, battled back gamely inside of that rival in midstretch and edged away late for the win. DREAMING OF SMARTY was rank and refused to settle early, checked and steadied along around the first turn, then vied outside for the lead, dueled with KABOD on the far turn, led into the stretch, dug in and was outfinished in the final sixteenth. COCO SHELL raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and bested the others in the lane. VERBIER stumbled badly at the start, recovered, moved up outside rivals on the first turn, stalked three wide, chased on the far turn and tired. SHOULDHAVEBEENGONE raced off the pace between rivals, stalked on the backside, chased inside on the far turn and tired. SO THERE tracked on the inside, then chased and gave way. ANTONOV trailed the field in the early stages, moved up four wide at the half mile marker, chased three wide on the far turn and gave way.
