Chart notes
OMEGASSHOOTINGSTAR trailed the field from the four path, was roused in the final turn, closed steadily and got up just in time. CHARMING VINTAGE contested the pace inside of REMARKABLE ELI, gained a short lead in the far turn, saw margins diminish into the stretch, drifted out under left-handed encouragement, and was caught before the wire. REMARKABLE ELI show early speed outside then sat in striking position from the three path, rallied into the drive inside of OMEGASSHOOTINGSTAR then was checked deep stretch after losing his path. BEAUGATTI tracked from the two path, chased, and failed to threaten. CHESTER SLEW chased four to five wide and tired. CARRERA CABALLO shifted out to the four path in the backstretch, and was outrun. TRAINER OBJECTION- An objection lodged by the trainer of REMARKABLE ELI against the rider of OMEGASSHOOTINGSTAR and CHARMING VINTAGE alleging interference deep stretch. After review by the Board of Stewards, CHARMING VINTAGE was disqualified and placed third for interference to REMARKABLE ELI. The objection lodged against OMEGASSHOOTINGSTAR was disallowed.
