DUAL THREAT chased three deep early, got boxed in to lose a bit of ground near the eleven-sixteenths pole, moved into range up the backstretch, split rivals on the far turn then tipped to the four path, collared the runner-up with a furlong remaining and kicked clear. ALL THE KING'S MEN hopped at bit coming away from the gate, chased four deep out of range early, moved into range in the middle stages, bid three deep on the far turn, put away inner rivals entering the stretch, challenged by the winner at the eighth pole, relinquished the lead midstretch and held second. LEN'S LUCK hopped then bobbled in a poor start, trailed to the far turn, advanced inside around that bend, tipped out in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. STELLA BOY bumped shortly after the start, tracked between rivals, shifted out a bit at the five-eighths pole, moved down to the inside, came out on the far turn and five wide into the stretch and could not threaten. RIPPIN' RUIS (AUS) climbed early, traveled near the back, got crowded and steadied briefly on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, moved out further in the drive and improved position. ICE STORM lost his footing at the start, chased along the inside and bumped with rival into the first turn, put in a mild bid between rivals at the nine-sixteenths pole, failed to keep up leaving the backstretch, came three wide into the lane and weakened. MISSING THEM vied three deep into the first turn then dueled for command from outside, vied between rivals on the second bend, failed to keep up with the new leader entering the stretch and faded down the lane. BUFFETT bumped leaving the gate, vied between rivals then dueled inside MISSING THEM for command, fought with outer pair on the far turn, lost touch exiting that bend and gave way. SAN JAC bumped with inner rival then hit outer rival shortly after the start, chased three deep off the pace, went four wide into the far turn, got forced out midway around the bend and tired. KING HEAT hit the gate in the beginning, vied inside a pair then ceded command on the first turn, challenged again four deep on the backstretch, failed to keep up leaving the backstretch, drifted out while dropping back on the far turn and tired.
