NOLO CONTESTO was bumped at the start, chased four wide early, bid three wide on the turn, dueled, rallied to a short lead, then dug in gamely in the final furlong and was kept clear. AMITY ROAD was bumped on both sides and steadied at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace, made a four wide bid at the quarter pole, rallied outside in the lane and proved second best. AMERICAN LAW broke out and bumped a rival at the start, raced off the pace inside, rallied between rivals in the lane and got third. DEPOLI was off slowly and steadied, outrun early, rallied in the two path in the stretch and missed for third. ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE raced off the pace inside, moved up three wide on the turn and rallied mildly outside. SEA TRIDENT chased close up two wide, bid two wide on the turn, chased and tired. LIVING WATER showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled inside on the turn and tired. WOODLINE chased three wide early, moved inside on the turn and tired. A Jockey's Objection by the rider of AMITY ROAD against the winner for alleged interference at the start, was dismissed.
