Chart notes
K C ROCKET set the pace up the backstretch and held firm under a snug hold around the turn, given cue two wide entering the lane, responded willingly and kicked clear. HUSKER BUTCH was off a step slow at the start and lacked early speed, saved ground and edged closer late on the turn, tipped two to three wide for the drive and finished second best. LEA ME BE sat back off the early pace, swung five wide into the lane and finished well. GEM COLLECTION chased the pace up the backstretch, hustled up along the rail on the turn, edged closer in upper stretch then flattened out. NIGHTWIND raced in contention along the outside in early stages, sustained bid around the turn then gave way in the lane. HALO MOON was forwardly placed racing just off the eventual winner, sustained bid around the turn then tired in the drive.
