Chart notes
ALMENDARES (GB) raced in mid-pack on the inside early, went two then three wide around the far turn, rallied to the front midstretch and won going away. X J RASCAL (IRE) got brushed between rivals on the first turn, chased two wide into the lane, offered a bid but was no match for the winner late. SMART CODE raced up close early then chased two to three wide around the first turn, moved up outside the top pair in the middle stages, bid three then two wide around the last turn, took over in upper stretch then yielded to the top pair. EL PERFECTO traveled two wide near the back, came four wide into the stretch, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. BOLT SUPREMACY tracked from inside, lacked room and lost positions on the far turn, tipped out into the clear and kept on through the lane to improve placings. PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) raced up close four deep then ceded command in the stretch first time around, brushed three deep into the first turn, chased two wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. EASTBOUND traveled two wide at the back early, three wide into the lane, angled out and improved position. BOSS SULLY vied three deep early then dueled from outside, moved over to the rail once clearing inner rival on the far turn, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. GIOVINAZZO vied for the lead five, four, then three deep first time through the lane, cleared around the clubhouse turn and crossed over to the inside, dueled with BOSS SULLY, started to weaken on the far turn and faded through the lane. UPWARD MOBILITY unhurried from inside early, was along the two path on the second bend, found traffic in upper stretch and failed to menace. HORACE MANN vied for the lead from inside then rated in a stalking position, had to pause behind a rival on the first turn, got shuffled back on the far turn, found traffic in upper stretch and weakened.
