Chart notes
JERSEY BABE raced close to the solid early pace and pressed VALERIE into the turn, dueled with that rival to the quarter marker, battled against the stubborn VALERIE to mid-stretch, shook free into the final furlong and edged away in deep stretch to prove best. BRONZE ONE stalked the solid early pace while outside of the leading pair, was coaxed along three wide to the quarter marker, lost a bit of ground at mid-stretch, closed well in the final sixteenth and won the nod for second on the wire. VALERIE broke alertly and showed good early speed, set a pressured pace into the turn, dueled with JERSEY BABE to the quarter marker, continued to stubbornly battle with that rival to mid-stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong, weakened in deep stretch and nailed on the line for second, while clear of the rest for third. DANZ TILL TEN was well placed in the early stages and tracked the solid pace from a two wide path, chased to mid-stretch, was not able to impact the leaders in the final stages but was gaining late. DARK MYSTERY raced close to the solid early pace, saved ground along the turn and lost position nearing the quarter marker, was outrun to mid-stretch and did not offer a late response. RAY AND KRIS was away slowly from the gate and was green in the early stages, trailed into the turn, bolted to the outside rail along the bend and did not factor in the stretch.
