DOM GERVASIO pushed out at the start, was allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch, then made a steady gain while lugging in and edged up late. BLUE COSMO well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the sixteenth pole, then was no match for the winner, while best of the rest. DIAMONDHARD STONE set the pace while bearing out, straightened down the backstretch, shook clear into the stretch, then weakened late and held the show. DISASTER RECOVERY tracked the pace rating, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and flattened out. GEMINI MOON stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, then faded into the stretch.
