Chart notes
NAPA DUDE bumped at the start, was never far back, saved ground through the turn, shifted out to the six path at the top of the stretch, responded with a burst of speed under right handed urging to make the lead late and drew off. LOCKDOWN LOVER bore in at the start bumping EAST BY WEST, set the pace in the five path down the backstretch, angled in on the turn, drifted to the four path entering the stretch, increased his advantage slightly before the furlong marker then couldn't handle the winner through the final stages. TWELVE MINUS ONE stumbled at the start, chased the pace in the six and seven paths and faded in the stretch. EL BANDIDO bumped at the start and was no factor. EAST BY WEST was bumped at the start then through early.
