Chart notes
ALLOTROPE led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, dug in while drifting in in upper stretch and just held the win. BOARDWALK QUEEN stalked the pace setter on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the bend from the three path, began a bid in upper stretch and gained ground quickly late to just miss. MISS POLO BAR raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, improved position in upper stretch, raced in tight quarters near the eighth pole when ALLOTROPE drifted in and chased on on from there. CLIMB TO GLORY chased the leader on the inside early, came around the turn in the two path and kept on to the wire. THIS DAMSEL MAYFLY raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and showed no kick. MISSY PIGGY trailed the field on the outside through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the two path and made no bid. THE RIDER OF HORSE TWO, MISS POLO BAR, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE SEVEN, ALLOTROPE, CITING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH. UPON REVIEW, THE CLAIM WAS ALLOWED AND HORSE SEVEN, ALLOTROPE, WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE.
