Chart notes
TOK TOK was reluctant to load, settled on the inside, made a inside bid leaving the turn and continued that rally up the fence to slowly edged clear late to prove best, driving. A G DIAMOND stalked the pace setter on the inside, tipped two wide leaving the turn and made a bid, gained the lead by the furlong marker and then dug in gamely in the furlong grounds but was out-kicked late, good effort. RUDDY BUDDY chased the pace on the inside, swung out three wide leaving the turn and finished well. BELTANE chased the pace two to three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane, lugged in leaving the furlong marker and had no kick. GAMBLIN GEORGE did not break sharply, settled back early, angled out and had a belated rally on the outside. IMPERIALTY was away alertly to set the pace while clear, but faltered in the drive. GRAND KINGDOM was off slowly, advanced leaving the turn and angled out leaving the furlong marker but checked repeatedly by the sixteenth marker losing all chance, tough trip. SUPER ROCKY failed to menace.
