Chart notes
ARTEMUS BRIDGE taken in hand leaving the gate to be unhurried, patiently handled down the backside, rallied six wide at the head of the lane to be up in a determined drive. VELOCE tracked the pace from the rail down the backside, made a bid up the fence to the top of the lane, angled three wide around the tiring frontrunners to take a brief lead in upper stretch and was out-finished while second best. CANDY KINGDOM settled off the pace for the run down the backside, saved ground along the rail and finished willingly. MISTA DONZELLA stalked the pace from three wide into the far turn and was out-kicked down the lane. LUIS TWO GUNS prompted the pace for three quarters and weakened in the drive. ERIC THE SALESMAN tracked the leaders throughout and lacked a closing response. LOKOYA ROAD trailed to the head of the lane and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. SAVVY LAYLA was never a threat. JOE PHILLIPS sped off to a clear lead out of the first turn, maintained his position to the far turn and tired.
