Chart notes
SPARKS FLYIN chased SINGLE MERIT while racing two-wide, responded when asked and finished fast to be up in the final strides. SINGLE MERIT saved ground setting the pace and just failed to late. TREASURE'S REALITY was allowed to settle while racing four-wide and finished in a mild rally. FOYT steadied in tight along the inside nearing the seven-sixteenths pole while being unhurried, dropped further back, then rallied five-wide into the stretch and improved his position. LET GEORGE DO IT saved ground while being reserved off the early pace but lacked a response when asked. CASH'S CAT was prominently placed early while racing three-wide and weakened. EXIT STAGE LEFT settled in the middle of the field, steadied from between horses nearing the five-sixteenths pole and gave way.
