Chart notes
JOVIAL hopped at the start and was off last, moved up three wide on the turn, rallied five wide into the stretch, swept to the front nearing the furlong marker and drew clear under urging. MUST BE LOVE showed good early speed outside, then dueled two wide for command, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely past the furlong marker and came up second best. FORTY STRIPES raced close up early on between rivals, then settled off the pace, dropped back on the turn, came three wide into the lane and finished well late. PRACTICAL WAY raced off the pace, chased between rivals on the turn and into the stretch, then rallied mildly. RECKLESS PLACE broke a step slow, chased on the inside, rallied on the rail turning for home, made a bid and weakened. SOUPER ROYAL MOON stalked four wide early, moved up three wide on the turn, made a bid and then flattened out. AWESOMEBROTHERBILL vied for the early lead racing in the two path, then chased and faded. BAYOU SHACK pulled his way to the front racing between horses in the opened quarter mile, then dueled inside on the turn and gave way in the lane.
