Chart notes
SENOR BUSCADOR settled at the back early, raced off the rail into the first turn then angled in, advanced four then five wide around the second bend, closed in and drew alongside the top pair with a sixteenth remaining, took over and drove clear approaching the wire. SLOW DOWN ANDY dueled for the off the rail inside BRICKYARD into the first turn, ceded command and became rank around around the bend, was taken back out of range racing in hand, inched closer around the far turn, took aim entering the final furlong, gained command in midstretch but could not fend off SENOR BUSCADOR in the final sixteenth. BRICKYARD RIDE dueled from outside five wide into the first turn, cleared inner rival and angled into the two path, held a comfortable lead up the backstretch and far turn, showed the way with a diminished lead with a furlong to, lost command in midstretch and was able to hold the show. DEFUNDED chased five wide into the clubhouse turn then angled in a few paths, ridden along around the far turn, spun four wide into the lane and finished evenly late. TRIPOLI tracked four to three wide early, paused at the three-eighths pole, came five wide into the lane and kept on through the final furlong. ROYAL SHIP (BRZ) tracked three wide early, sat off the pace up the backstretch, exited the far turn four wide and failed to rally. MISSED THE CUT chased five into the first turn, stalked off the rail then outside a rival in the middle stages, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. AMERICAN ADMIRAL got crowded shortly after the start, tucked inside early, went two to three wide around the far turn and failed to menace. TISQUANTUM chased six wide into the first turn then angled into the four path, steadied briefly at the seven-sixteenths pole, dropped back around the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
