Chart notes
GLOBAL EMPIRE was well rated two wide, came three wide into the lane and made a bid to edge away the final furlong to prove best, driving. CONI'S COUP was sent to the front to set the pace on the inside, then was headed by the furlong marker and could not match strides with the winner late, held place award. WESLAN was allowed to settle on the inside, saved ground on the turn and finished well on the inside. PATH TO SUCCESS tracked the pace three wide and ran on but needed more. HIGH BROW was settled two wide, then steadied leaving the five sixteenths and had no response. SOUPER FORTUNE stalked the pace three wide and tired.
