Chart notes
DISTANT FIRE stalked the pace outside horses, advanced three deep leaving the turn, secured command in upper stretch and drew out under brisk urging. PRINS FIRE bumped with SPUNKY IRISHMAN leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four wide, remained on his left lead and rallied mildly. TOAST TO COAST lacked speed, saved ground on the turn, entered the stretch in the two path, moved to the inner rail in mid stretch and had a slight rally. STORMY FIRE advanced in the two path to take a short lead leaving the turn, remained prominent to the eighth pole then faded. SPUNKY IRISHMAN , rank at the break, bumped with PRINS FIRE soon after the start, swung to the six path in mid stretch and was no menace. AUSTIN FROM BOSTON chased the pace inside horses on the turn, angled out at the head of the stretch and gave way. NOBLE RIVER sprinted clear and was taken to the inner rail about a furlong after the break, remained along the rail setting the pace and gave through the stretch. SCAT DANZ , outrun, was eased.
