CREME DE LA CHROME broke out, raced close to the pace, rallied into the turn, swung wide entering the stretch, closed steadily and wore down his rivals to get up late. ESPIONAGE dueled throughout and was outfinished in a game effort. AXEL STEEL broke out, dueled throughout and was outfinished in a good effort. CLAVICHORD was slow early, taken outside, swung wide entering the stretch, found his best stride late and was gaining ground. HOORAY AUSTIN raced close to the pace, bid off the rail and lacked the needed late response. HOLLAND was void of early speed, swung wide leaving the turn and finished well. NUMEROLOGIST lagged early while racing inside, shifted out on the turn, angled back in mid stretch, bid and hung. MINISTERSDON'TLIE vied inside early, was taken back, raced in hand around the turn and lacked a response when clear.
