Chart notes
CERTIFIED LOVERBOY saved ground on the first turn, was well placed while rated just off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path under urging on the far turn, gained six wide into the stretch, took the lead at the three-sixteenths, shook clear inside the furlong marker and proved best under steady urging. SEDONA RED raced in the four path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid with a half-mile to run, vied in the two path on the far turn, spun four wide into the stretch, fought with the winner to near the furlong marker and was outfinished while well clear for the place. ATLANTIC DANCER raced three wide on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged three wide early on the far turn then shifted five wide while advancing, turned into upper stretch under a drive and was along for the show. PAXSATIONAL went to the front, dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was given his cue late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the two path then lost the advantage, dropped back into the final furlong and gave way. WAR OFFICER broke a bit slow then was taken up, saved ground going around the opening bend, settled near the back, was urged along in the two path on the far turn and was no factor. ARRO SMASH was caught seven wide for most of the first turn, dropped to the four path late on that bend, settled comfortably off the pace, was urged while inside to the two path on the final turn and failed to respond. FLY RIGHT brushed with a foe early, raced in the five path on the first turn, settled just off the pace on the outside, chased three then four wide on the far turn and retreated. KOOPS brushed with a rival early, was caught in the six path on the first turn, settled outside on the backstretch, came up empty in the four path on the far turn, floated six wide into the stretch and faltered then was eased but walked off.
