Chart notes
FANNIE AND FREDDIE was hustled to the front, dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, showed the way on an easy lead down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was asked in the two path into the stretch, came under a right-handed crop at the furlong marker and proved best under steady urging. TONED UP went three then two wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked inside the three-eighths, spun three wide into the stretch under a right-handed crop, lost touch with the winner into the final furlong and was outfinished while able to get the place. SIGNAL FROM NOISE bumped with a foe at the start, was taken under a tight hold early then rated just off the pace on the inside, drafted behind the leader on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then shifted to the two path, dropped in near the three-sixteenths, chased into the final furlong and weakened. AMANI'S IMAGE bumped with a rival at the start, became keen on the opening straightaway then was taken under tight restraint off heels, was taken up briefly early on the first turn, rounded that bend in the two path, settled more comfortably down the backstretch, was roused three wide on the far turn and came up empty.
