Chart notes
LIGHTNING STRUCK raced in range and saved ground along the inside, raced off the top pair midway around the turn and angled out three wide near the quarter pole, hustled along into the lane, dug in determinedly and got up in final strides. CASEYS MEMORY raced four wide never too far back running through the backstretch, edged up closer and angled in a path entering the turn, moved up to challenge FAR FROM FINAL for the lead at the five sixteenths pole, dueled into the stretch run, began to edge away in final stages then got denied approaching the wire. FAR FROM FINAL dueled for the early lead racing inside of LEAVEITONTHEFIELD, began to edge away then took on the challenge from CASEYS MEMORY midway around the turn, dueled into the final furlong then weakened late. BEVERLY PARK raced between foes early then dropped to last, swung four to five wide into the lane and improved late. BROADWAY PETE raced in range three wide then came in a path entering the turn, had no response when called upon and steadily weakened. OURBESTFRIEND D L raced up close then was forced to check sharply entering the turn, lost all momentum, dropped back and never recovered. LEAVEITONTHEFIELD hustled up out of the gate and dueled along the outside up the backstretch, battled on to the midway point on the turn then came up empty.
