RUSTY MY BROTHER rated close up, angled out and moved to a short lead through the second turn, shook clear into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. AZTEC PRINCESS unhurried, moved up on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and closed well for the place. FOLK HERO allowed to settle, angled out and moved up through the second turn, came widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the show. MERINO WOOL well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. STARSHIP MACYS set the pace off the rail, shook clear down the backstretch, lost some ground through the second turn, then faded into the stretch. INDIAN SPIDEROO led in the early going, was a brief factor.
