Chart notes
RATATAT bore out bumping CRIMSON LEGION leaving the gate, was bumped by MANDOLIN BREEZE soon thereafter, chased the pace to the top of the stretch, gained a slight lead two wide, was headed by DEW IT WITH STYLE before the furlong marker, drifted in the late under right handed urging bumping DEW IT WITH STYLE and proved best by a narrow margin while fully extended. DEW IT WITH STYLE hopped, was bumped hard and pinched back between horses at the start, dropped inside and rushed to the lead into the first turn, set the pace for six furlongs, gave up a narrow lead entering the stretch, dug in gamely to put a head back in front near the furlong marker, matched strides to the wire, was bumped late and just missed hanging on. MANDOLIN BREEZE bore out badly bumping rivals at the start, stalked the early pace, loomed boldly three wide nearing the quarter pole then was. WELLOILEDCAT passed tiring rivals. LATE DATE was no factor. CRIMSON LEGION was bumped and squeezed between rivals at the start then lacked the needed response. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF DEW IT WITH STYLE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF RATATAT FOR INTEFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED RATATAT AND PLACED HER SECOND. PER THE HORSE RACING INTEGRITY AND WELFARE UNIT, LATE DATE HAS BEEN DQ'D FOR A POSITIVE TEST.
