Chart notes
HAP HOT angled in and dumped with BLAME J D in the opening furlong, led the way up what remained of the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and drew off in the lane. SEA TO SUCCESS chased the pace setter on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, came around the turn in the two path and kept on to the finish. BLAME J D was bumped by HAP HOT early on, recovered to stalk that rival on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and chased on to the wire. HOT SHOT KID raced off the pace on the outside through the opening stages, came around the turn in the four path and was outkicked in the stretch. MONGOLIAN BEE raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and made no bid. PRIZE FIGHTER tracked the leaders early, continued around the turn in the two path and tired from there.
