Chart notes
COMMANDEER was rated along the inside, coaxed along on the turn and eased out by the quarter pole, angled out for aim leaving the three sixteenths and closed well to get up in time to finish on even terms for the win honors. KING VEGA (GB) set a fast pace while being keen early, was unchallenged throughout and clear by the furlong marker, but was getting tired late but held on to finish on even terms for the win honors. SY DOG was allowed to settle on the inside, angled out leaving the turn and had a late rally. HENLEY'S JOY was reserved two wide, then finished well on the inside. HARLAN ESTATE chased the pace three wide and came four wide into the lane and weakened. ARTURO TOSCANINI (IRE) was reserved on the inside and lacked a rally.
