Chart notes
NAN ELIZABETH was pinched back and stumbled after the start, then was unhurried early, came four-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final strides. REIGN OF FIRE prompted MS PARKSIDE from along the outside, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and just failed to last. MS PARKSIDE was bumped at the start by SMILING THUNDER, then moved up to set the pressured pace to the eighth pole and held on fairly well for third. SMILING THUNDER broke in to bump MS PARKSIDE, then dropped back, came five-wide into the stretch and showed some interest late. BRILLIANT BIRD was forwardly placed while racing two-wide and weakened during the drive. FRISCO FRILLS broke out, then showed brief speed along the inside and gave way after three furlongs.
