APPELLANT stalked the early pace while saving ground at the rail through the stretch the first time, continued to save ground while biding his time between the pacesetters in the run down the backside, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, shifted off the rail midway through the turn, and closed smartly four wide in the drive to prove best. SLEW'S DA BOSS stalked the leaders while racing two out from the rail through the stretch the first time, advanced quickly four wide upon entering the backside, rallied three wide entering the final turn, held a narrow advantage into the lane, and finished three wide in the drive to hold the place. COUNTRY COWBOY away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the lane the first time, set a pressured pace in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, and gave way grudgingly late in a game effort. DEPUTY'S DANCER broke sharply and tracked the leaders through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, held a striking position to the final turn, before beginning to fade. PARKER POINT away well and dueled for the lead two wide into the stretch the first time, forced the issue from the outside of COUNTRY COWBOY in the run down the backside and into the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
