MAGIC ROAD tracked the pacesetter into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, overtook the leader while racing two wide into the final turn, and held BARBERRY BANDIT safely at bay late to prove best. BARBERRY BANDIT broke sharply and stalked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and closed willingly while drifting four wide in deep stretch while gaining late. SOMTHING ELUSIVE away alertly and was allowed to settle off the early pace while racing one out from the rail in the run down the backside, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and finished determinedly while being carried out five wide in deep stretch. PETERSON LANDING away well and stalked the early pace while racing two out from the rail entering the backside, rallied two wide through the final turn, but failed to mount a serious late bid when called upon. HE'S GOLDEN unhurried early while dropping back to trail, bided his time at the back of the pack in the run down the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive. MAX BOOSTER rushed to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, controlled the pace into the backstretch, was overtaken entering the final turn, and faded in the stretch drive.
