Chart notes
MINER LEAGUE saved ground stalking the pace, angled out to come foiur-wide into stretch and finished strongly to be in the final strides. KNIGHTLINE ducked in sharply at the start bumped CHANCELLORS BOOM forcing him into other horses, then was bumped by MOOKI shortly after that, set the pace racing slightly off the rail and just failed to last. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY, KNIGHTLINE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED SIXTH FOR CAUSING INTERFERENCE AT THE START. DYNAMIC SECRET was bumped at the start, then was carried out on the turn by VICTOR ALY, was four-wide entering the stretch, angled in during the drive and was gaining late. MOKKI came in shortly after the start to bump with KNIGHTLINE, then prompted the issue to the stretch from along the outside and weakened. VICTOR ALY drifted out on the turn, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. CHANCELLORS BOOM was bumped at the start, then was forwardly placed on the turn while four-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and tired. CALORESE was off a step slow and failed to menace while saving ground.
