Chart notes
SIR LANCE set a pressured early pace, raced three wide into the turn, opened up mid stretch and held. BUBBA CHROME tracked the early pace, ranged up five wide through the turn, was gaining fast late and just missed. THUNDERHOUSE was unhurried early, raced along the inside into the turn, shifted out through the turn to the five path and offered a mild rally. BATTLE OF BASTOGNE stalked the early pace, angled out to race between rivals through the turn and finished evenly. CERTAIN raced in mid pack early, went six wide and finished belatedly. RUNAWAY ROAD pressed the early pace from the inside and weakened. MACLIN was void of any early speed, angled out in early stretch and offered no late rally. FREEGFTWTHPURCHASE was reluctant to load, was outrun early and was never a factor.
