Chart notes
SARA'S SHAMAN stalked in the three path, was under light rousing early into the far turn, bid passing the quarter, took over and opened up from the three path into the stretch, and was driven out. ALEXANDER HELIOS tracked in the two path, was ridden along while tipping out to the four path into the far turn, received right handed encouragement going into the stretch, and chased on for place. FOR THE CHIEF chased in the two path, was driven from the three path into the lane, and finished evenly for show. GUSTAV was held up in range around the four path, tipped out to the five path turning into the stretch, but flattened. CASPIAN SEA (GB) laid off the pace inside, shifted out to the six path entering the lane, but made no impact. ROYAL FOX HILLS trailed in the five path early and never threatened. HIGH STAKES set the pace inside but yielded down the stretch.
