Chart notes
BEAUCLAIRE stalked the early leader, raced in the four path, was forwardly placed, cued and responded well at the eighth pole, gained ground, cleared the front runner by the sixteenth pole, pulled away to the wire. E R'S MIREYA vied for the lead,, took control and raced on the rail, then tired in the stretch and gave way but had done enough for second place honors. DON'T LOOK ETHEL was racing in the middle of hte pack in the early stages, raced two wide, stayed on the inside and saved ground through out, shifted out into the five path in deep stretch, grabbing third. WHEELS LIKE NALA was off in mid pack, raced on the rail, raced a consistent ground saving race and closed down the stretch.. BITSY'S DOUBLE DAY was off in the middle of the field, raced three wide, maintained position through out but had no rally. CALCITE stalked the pace from the three path, shifted into the five path in the upper stretch, drifted out and faded. JAZZ JAZZ JAZZ showed little. MALLORY UNBRIDLED had an awkward start, trailed through out.
