CATATUMBO hopped and was off slowly, was outrun early, moved up on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside, closed steadily in the final sixteenth, put a head in front in deep stretch and prevailed under urging. ARTIE'S ANGEL raced off the pace inside, moved up on the rail entering the stretch, steadied when lacking room at the eighth pole, then continued a rail rally and dug in gamely to the finish. THE PENINSULA raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace, went three wide on the far turn, rallied between horses in the stretch and got third. TIZ A PRINCE stalked two wide, chased three wide on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, rallied and was outkicked. DAZZLING TRUTHS was outrun early, advanced on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. BURNING MAN was outrun early, advanced on the far turn, moved up in traffic in midstretch and rallied mildly. CABINET PIK raced off the pace inside, steadied entering the first turn, tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn, made a bid and was outkicked. SANDY LANE KITTEN stalked three wide, chased four wide on the far turn and tired. MONTAUK SUMMER vied inside for the early lead, then tracked the pace, chased on the far turn and gave way. HARPOON HARRY pulled while racing two wide in the early stages, took over and moved inside to set the pace, shook free entering the far turn, then gave way in the final furlong.
