Chart notes
BOLD ARCH rushed up from along the rail to vie for the lead entering he first turn, opened a clear advantage through the final turn, and was all out to hold off a late surge by JUST JIMMY to prevail. JUST JIMMY away alertly and stalked the dueling leaders while racing one out from the rail in the run down the backside, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, and closed with a rush three wide in the drive to just miss. SET TO SHINE settled at the back of the pack while racing three wide entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished willingly four wide in the drive to garner a share. SIR BREGOVIC away well and pressed the pace from the outside of BOLD ARCH entering the first turn, continued to force the issue two wide into the final turn, but was outfinished in the late stages. SMART LAD broke sharply and tracking the dueling leaders into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, rallied two wide into the final turn, but was unable to mount a serious late bid. BE QUICK settled off the contested early pace while saving ground at the rail entering he backstretch, was always well back and failed to respond when called upon.
