Chart notes
NICK THE CARDSHARK shifted out and bumped A T M AWESOME leaving the five eighths marker, tracked the pace three wide, made a four wide bid leaving the quarter pole, drew clear in the furlong grounds to prove much the best, driving. CARGO SHIP set the pace while clear, two wide on the turn, then was headed by the furlong marker and proved to be no match for that rival while second best. BEYOND THE BEND tracked the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn but flattened out the final furlong. FEDERAL CASE was allowed to settle early and then had no serious rally. A T M AWESOME was bumped and checked leaving the five eighths marker, chased the pace three wide and weakened. PURPLE SHIRT was reserved early, three wide on the turn and was n not a threat. The rider on A T M AWESOME claimed FOUL against the rider of the winner NICK THE CARDSHARK for interference around the five eighths marker, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replay the OBJECTION WAS ALLOWED and the winner NICK THE CARDSHARK was disqualified and placed fifth.
