MAMA LOU positioned herself along the inside while saving ground down the backstretch, then moved up while four wide on the far turn to gain command heading into the stretch then was ridden out to the wire to prove best. SOUTHERN SMILE pressed the pace while two wide into the first turn, then took charge down the second half of the backstretch, then menaced to keep the lead throughout the far turn but was over bid by an outer rival around the quarter pole and was able to hold onto the place prize in the end. SENTIMENTALJOURNEY stalked the pace while three wide down the backstretch, then made a bid on the far turn to move up down the lane to battle for the place position but hung in the end. OCELIA vied early to set the pace into the first turn and down the early backstretch, then was over taken for command by an outer rival, continued to race in close behind throughout the far turn and into the stretch before giving way in the end.
