Chart notes
TWIRLING MAMBA mid pack and inside, angled out and moved to position two and three wide through the turn, fanned five wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead late and held. GENERAL WINSTON allowed to settle, moved up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain, split rivals late and missed. GRAINGER COUNTY unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. RIO ABAJO well placed and inside, tracked the leader through the turn, angled out to bid three wide into the stretch and flattened out. WROTE IN STONE broke out at the start, bumping a rival, set the pace off the rail, angled in into the turn, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. GINS AND TINS mid pack, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch, gaining a striking position, then steadied inside and faded the final furlong. STRANGE ARRANGE bumped at the start, stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the turn, then faded three wide into the stretch.
