Chart notes
LORING PARK saved ground around the first turn then stalked the pace down the backstretch, made a three wide bid around the final turn and drove past the leader at the eighth pole and won going away. MR. COUGAR raced near the back down the backstretch then moved up from two wide around the final turn, tipped out to four wide in upper stretch and made a late rally but was no match for the winner. STAR OF STARS roused to the front to a pressured lead to the three furlong marker then edged away into the stretch but was over taken at the eighth pole and held on for the show. SWAMPDRAINER saved ground while racing in the middle of the pack, moved up on the final turn from the inside but lacked the late response in the stretch. STAR MISSION was allowed to settle around the final turn and passed tiring rival in the stretch. BIG PETE tracked the leaders from the middle of the pack while racing three wide down the backstretch, fell back on the final turn but was not a threat. BACK TO SELLING was off a step slow then rushed up to press the pace from the two path to the quarter pole and gave way.
