Chart notes
STRETCH THE TRUTH set a pressured pace and contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn, dug in determinedly and raced clear under the wire. GRAND FIBER contested the pace from the start, raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn, was outfinished in the duel through the stretch and just lasted for second. PROTA pressured the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, dug in from the head of the lane, finished well and just missed second. WIDGET FACTORY gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path, eased outward leaving the turn and finished well. PRINCE OF FENTON chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. KUKULKAN chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail then flattened inside the eighth pole.
