Chart notes
EXCITEMENT chased the leader along the inside into the turn, shifted out past the quarter pole, responded readily when asked with a right handed crop to make the lead two wide inside the furlong marker and drew off under a hand ride. OKLAHOMA JOE broke sharply, set the pace with a clear lead into the stretch then was no match for the winner. SMOOCHER unhurried early, found his best stride late along the rail. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT went evenly. OUR BUCKWHEAT chased the pace two wide into the stretch then weakened. ANIMO ROBERTO was no factor. SEASONS END was no threat. LONE BOY was through early.
