Chart notes
AUNT NELDA bit tardy at the start, saved ground to far turn veered in and slammed the rail at the eighth pole, regrouped to clear off in the final sixteenth while swerving in sharply again at the finish with the rider staying on in a gallant effort by both the rider and the horse. QUEEN OF ATLANTIS four wide first turn, rushed up to the half, all out no match. PLEDGULATIONS no speed to far turn, widest run into stretch for show spot. DOODLE DOO chased early from inside, could not keep up, faded stretch run. TRUISM dueled leader to the half with a steady fade in the stretch. SHORT ON THE SUGAR through early and gave way readily.
