O LETS BE FIRST away well, and dug in late, winning the nod. BITTERROOTS WAGON broke in, bumping into EYE M away from the gate, rallied late stretch, and lost the nod. WINKINS WAGON BOSS early speed and weakened late stretch. CAPES TIMBER gave best late. DJ BRIGHT RUBY improved position late. EYE M bumped hard away from the gate, was in tight in the stretch and yielded. SPARKYS SIGNATURE rallied belatedly. MONTANA CHICK brushed BITTERROOTS WAGON in the early stages, and yielded. STEWARDS INQUIRY- The Board of Stewards conducted an inquiry into the start of the race. After review, it was determined that BITTERROOTS WAGON caused interference to EYE M at the start of the race and was disqualified and placed sixth.
