Chart notes
ACE OF CLUBS broke out and bumped BOWTIE BOYS, chased off the inside early, took aim two wide into the lane, drew alongside the runner-up in deep stretch and drove past. ELIGIO dueled for the lead from inside, inched clear around the turn, showed the way into the final sixteenth and could not fend off the winner. ALWAYS ON CAY shifted in early and corrected before going between foes to challenge for the lead, dueled outside ELIGIO into and around the turn, lost touch with that rival three wide leaving the bend, weakened in the final furlong and saved the show. THOMPSON raced up close outside the top pair early, chased three then four wide around the turn and flattened in the lane. BOWTIE BOYS took a bump from inside at the start, coaxed along early in mid-pack, went three wide into the turn, exited five wide and lacked the needed response. RINGTONE sat off the pace from inside, tipped out and came three wide into the lane and failed to menace. READY TO STORM chased three wide into the turn, four wide into the drive and came up empty.
