Chart notes
LUTES SEA GYPSY brushed with KIKI'S CRUSADER at the start, then was unhurried early, moved forward between horses on the turn, came four-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final sixteenth to win going away. SHILSHOLE BAY brushed at the start with FLY PARKER FLY then dueled with SOLO UN BESO from along the outside, opened clear entering the stretch but was unable to resist the winner late while clearly second best. JEWELED AGAIN saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out leaving the three-sixteenths pole for room and was gaining late. FLY PARKER FLY was brushed at the start then saved ground chasing the leaders, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. KIKI'S CRUSADER was brushed at the start then was forwardly placed early while racing two-wide and weakened. SOLO UN BESO dueled for the lead from along the outside to the stretch and tired. SODA SPRINGS dropped back early and failed to seriously threaten.
