Chart notes
BIG CITY BOB dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, shook free at the top of the lane, responded when roused, drew clear and then was all out late to hold on. BOX OF CHOCOLATES chased the pace, moved up between rivals on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed steadily outside in the final furlong and dug in gamely to the finish. DIZZY GILLESPIE chased on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied inside in the stretch and dug in gamely on the rail to the end. SMALL REASON chased between rivals, three wide on the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, bid and flattened out. BAILEY hopped at the start, dueled two wide for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn and faded in the stretch. MAJESTIC TIGER chased three wide, then four wide on the turn and faded. GIROLAMO'S ATTACK broke a step slow, raced off the pace and did not factor.
