DETERMINISTIC played up in the post parade, was off slow then came in behind a skirmish in front, climbed some under urging outside the five-eighths, went three wide early on the turn then angled five wide in the vicinity of the five-sixteenths, bumped with a rival while six wide into upper stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late and prevail. HURRICANE NELSON bumped with a rival at the start, angled out early, tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid near the seven-sixteenths, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths, took the lead in the three path into upper stretch, shook clear under one pop of a right-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths, was switched to a left-handed crop at the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place in a good effort. ELIMINATE bumped twice with a rival at the start, settled off the inside, was asked in the two path early on the turn, angled four wide near the five-sixteenths, bumped with foes while five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response while able to safely secure the show. INFORMED PATRIOT veered in at the start and bumped with a foe, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths, lost the advantage into upper stretch and weakened. RIDGEWOOD RUNNER was bumped at the start then forced into another opponent, settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, bumped with a rival while four wide into the stretch, chased into the final furlong and came up empty. REYNOLDS CHANNEL broke in then was hustled, established a good position just off the pace, was asked while moving from the rail to the two path on the turn, shifted three wide into the stretch under a drive, dropped back into the final furlong and capitulated. CHAPERONE bumped twice with a rival at the start and bobbled then was taken up multiple times, spotted the front many lengths, went around the turn in the two path and was no factor. NULLIFY played up in the post parade, was bumped at the start and forced into another foe then taken up, settled on the outside, went four then five wide past the three-eighths pole, dropped to the three then two path late on the bend, turned into the stretch along the rail and failed to respond.
