Chart notes
BIG LEAGUE BENNY broke on top of the short field, saved ground through the turn while relishing command, angled out to three wide at upper stretch, and dug in to get up in late strides for the score. HIGHTAIL COWBOY came away alertly, gained command halfway down the backstretch, tucked to save ground through the bend, led the field at the eighth pole, then was nailed in final strides and forced to settle for place honors. NEW DICE lacked a needed rally to end a wide journey. O DOGG showed reserve from outset, tucked to save ground around the turn, and was of little threat to front runners. DILLON ROCKS stalked the early pace from a three path pose, rated two wide and close up at upper stretch, then faded rapidly in final furlong.
