LIE AND DENY was reserved off the early paced while racing three-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and quickly drew clear. WITHEE was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. PRIME EXAMPLE was brushed at the start by CRAZY ABOUT YOU, then set the pace into the stretch and weakened. CRAZY ABOUT YOU broke out and brushed with PRIME EXAMPLE, then saved ground but lacked a rally. THE THIRD RING prompted the issue to the stretch and tired. TRIBUNAL LOVE gave way after showing brief speed.
