Chart notes
SHANKAR settled off the pace while racing four wide around both turns, rallied between foes, drifted in under right-handed urging late, took the lead nearing the wire and lasted. LORD EDDARD STARK raced off the pace four wide, edged closer two wide between foes rounding the far turn, angled to the rail leaving the eighth pole, closed inside and was up on the wire. ELUSIVE EMPIRE settled off the pace three wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, took over near the quarter pole, drifted out in upper stretch, led to deep stretch and was outfinished late. WOW WISH stalked the pace two wide, bid between foes nearing the quarter pole, battled to deep stretch then steadied when in tight late. GENTLEMAN GERRY was loose pre-race, saved ground off the pace, was on heels in upper stretch, angled out near the sixteenth pole and never threatened. STORM BRAVE advanced three wide to the lead around the first turn, cleared and angled in early on the backstretch, led inside from there to the quarter pole, gave way and was not urged in the final sixteenth. CAPTAIN ANTHONY failed to menace while racing two and three wide. THE DOORMAN tracked the pace three and four wide and came up empty in the lane. AWESOME HONOR was outrun inside.
